At the Medical Arts Group of Issaquah our goals have always been to deliver the highest possible quality of healthcare to our patients in a friendly, approachable and safe environment. In an effort to preserve the quality of care we have been committed to since our practice began, we conducted a 4 year pilot examining the benefits of the concierge model of primary care. This model has proven to be a great way for us to deliver the kind of care we feel our patients deserve. Beginning January 2011 our practice will have completely transitioned to this model of healthcare.

We are able to provide service essential for optimal care of our patients as well as many conveniences that are not covered by insurance plans including:
- Ample time spent during office visits to ensure our patients concerns are addressed.
- Same or next day appointments with our providers for physicals, follow up or urgent appointments.
- We create a patient profile that personalizes patient care to include preference of provider for each type of appointment and ensure we know how they prefer to communicate with us between visits.
- Secure email. Our patients can communicate with any of our office staff or providers for non-urgent matters, to make appointments, or give us updates. Our patients are provided their own unique username and password for this service to ensure privacy.
- Access online to areas of the electronic patient record to lab results, medical summaries, allergies, medications, baseline EKG is available. Emergency departments, specialists, or our patients themselves may log in with our patient’s approval only.
- Afterhours access to Dr. Jacobson via cell phone for urgent medical problems that require immediate assistance.
- Medical news, updates and pearls delivered quarterly in our newsletter Keeping Close.
